The 15 Minute Killer Ab Workout Challenge!

Just over an hour ago, I was sitting here contemplating about what to write in this post and it came to me.

I was about to tell you how you could do all the exercises in my system in just 15 minutes, but I decided that wasn't good enough -- so I took it a step further.


I felt like a challenge and put myself to the test to see if I could do the workout in 15 minutes. and guess what happened?

I didn't do it!


Here's the deal:

I started the workout at 10:42 a.m. and when I got up to look at the clock it was 10:58 a.m. -- that's 16 minutes! But let me tell you, it was one of the best 16 minutes I've ever spent!


If you want to have a run-down of what actually happend, and why it took me so long, let's take a closer look:

  • After completing the first set of exercises, I sat up, grabbed a drink of water and relaxed for approximately 1 minute.

  • Then I went back for the second round, and once I completed tha one, I sat up, grabbed another drink of water ( I had a 1.5 litre water bottle right next to me) and relaxed for about another minute.

  • And finally, I completed the last cycle of exercises, got up immediately, and looked at the clock to see the numbers 10:58 in amazement!

I couldn't believe it. It really didn't feel like 16 minutes had passed because I was so fucused on doing the exercises.

Honestly, it was a bit of a tougher workout for me -- I usually give myself about half an hour to do the whole routine in a slow and relaxed manner.


Well, I've got to tell you my abs feel fantastic right now, and I may just have to do this more often!

Now, when I think about it, if you take out the 2 minutes I spent relaxing and drinking water in between sets, then the exercises only took me 14 minutes to complete... so you really can do them all in 15 minutes!

You have to rememeber that I have the entire routine memorized since I've been using this system for so long, so I was able to think about the next exercise as I was finishing the previous one. That alone definitely shaved off a few seconds ;)

So, I'm going to take this challenge again in the future and see if I can do any better than a lousy 16 minutes. It must have been because I was making sure to focus every rep, and maek sure each one counted ;)

And I want to challenge you if you're up to it. The task is simple, I challenge you to see if you can beat my lousy record of 16 minutes to do the whole workout.

All you have to remember is that I was doing 15 repetitions of everything, so make sure when you time yourself, that you are doing the same!
