What About The Cardio?

This morning has been a sheer marathon for me, as I was in the mood to start running, and once I started I just couldn't stop!

As soon as I was out the door and across the street, I was off and jogging for what was supposed to be a good half an hour, and turned in to much much longer.

I had the crazy though in my mind that I would be able to run an entire 10 kilometer circuit (yes, kilometers cause I live in Canada) but I wasn't sure if I was going to do it.

Well, when you focus on something long enough, your subconscious mind helps pull you through and you can achive it. If you understand what I'm saying here, than basically anything in the world can be yours...

But back to the run.

You and I both know that doing cardiovascular exercise is important for our health, especially for o9ur hearts and burning fat. and that's obviously one of the reasons I run.

Now, I'm definitely in no need of losing any fat, but it's because I run and do cardiovascular activites that I have a very low body fat percentage.

Ther ewas a point in time where I had a 5% body fat percentage and I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary, just a lot of different activites, and eating really well to be able to do those activites.

The funny thing about corid exercises is that after you do go for a long run, or have a big game of soccer with some friends you get what's calle da runner's high. It's a kick from the endorphines that are naturally produced in our bodies that help you enjoy particular sensations.

Well, let me tell you, after I had finished my 10+ km run this morning, I was ready to celebrate!

If there is any advice I can give you that would be of any benefit whatsoever, it's to take up running or some other kind of cardio activity to keep your heart happy and your circulatory system flowing.

Having a happy heart really translates into having a happy you!

So, if you're ever bored, and really feel like you'd like to do something beneficial for yourself, strap on some running shoes and hit the bricks!

The least that'll happen is it'll speed up your metabolism for a little while, and help you burn fat faster!

Anyway I can feel my fingers starting to get tired form all this writing, so I'm going to have to say goodbye for now.
